About the position

The Sr. Software QA Lead Engineer will support software test and tool development activities for medical capital equipment projects. This role involves planning, developing, and executing software testing while evaluating the verification status of the product. The engineer will collaborate with a globally distributed team on product development, verification, and release, ensuring high-quality software delivery in the medical domain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute software testing for medical capital equipment.
• Evaluate the verification status of the product.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams on product development and release.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Write and analyze test cases and develop automated test protocols.
• Perform manual testing including risk assessment and report creation.
• Support software test and tool development activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software QA, focusing on Java Spring Boot and microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient with Karate framework and JavaScript test frameworks.
• Experienced in web automation testing using Selenium.
• Proficient in API test automation with microservices.
• 7+ years of experience in testing and tool development for software.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and understanding product requirements.
• Experience with automated testing of medical devices to functional requirements.
• Experience with Python scripting or other scripting languages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the medical device industry (at least 2 years).
• Hands-on experience in Test Automation.
