About the position

Join the Systems, Application and Products (SAP) HR and Payroll Systems Team at NBCUniversal as a Senior Solution Manager for SAP Payroll. In this role, you will be responsible for managing SAP Payroll Systems activities that support business requirements, enhancing or adding new functionalities to the existing SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Human Capital Management (HCM) landscape. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing existing solutions and processes to identify areas for improvement, ensuring the integrity of HCM solutions by reviewing build and run changes, and providing input for future solutions and system architecture based on your knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll. You will assist in bridging the gap between understanding requirements, functional specifications, testing, and delivery. This includes performing and managing configuration on SAP Payroll, as well as managing projects and project teams to successfully deliver medium and large-scale projects. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with key business stakeholders, vendors, and other IT teams to gather requirements, manage customer expectations, and build consensus to deliver effective SAP Payroll solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform SAP Payroll Systems Management activities in support of business requirements.
  • Review existing solutions and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain integrity of the HCM solutions by reviewing build and run changes.
  • Provide input for future solutions and system architecture based on SAP HCM PY knowledge.
  • Assist with bridging the gap between understanding requirements, functional specifications, testing, and delivery.
  • Perform and manage configuration on SAP Payroll.
  • Manage projects and project teams to successfully deliver medium and large-scale projects.
  • Work with key business stakeholders, vendors, and other IT teams to gather requirements and manage customer expectations.
  • Build consensus to deliver SAP Payroll solutions.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical/quantitative field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree related experience.
  • 12 years of functional experience with SAP Payroll, including US Payroll - SAP US PY Taxation, Earnings and Deductions, BSI Tax Factory, W2, Tax Reporter.
  • Strong understanding of various benefits and experience with integrations with various benefits vendors (e.g., 401K, Deferred Comp, H&W, Union PHW).
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP Payroll Schema and Rules.
  • In-depth experience of SAP Payroll based Interfaces and Reports.
  • 5 years' experience in managing small and medium size projects related to SAP HR/Payroll.
  • 5 years' experience managing multiple projects and working with payroll IT team members to ensure timely project delivery.
  • 10 years of experience working with key business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to gather/deliver requirements and manage customer expectations.
  • Minimum of 3+ SAP US Payroll implementations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves
