About the position
The Sr. Solutions Architect for AWS Cloud Migration at Presidio is responsible for leading presales activities, including discovery, analysis, architecture design, and proposal development tailored to customer needs. This role involves direct client engagement to understand their current IT state and future goals, leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge to recommend solutions that provide long-term value.
Responsibilities
- Understand Customer Current State by driving discovery and understanding of customer IT current state, goals, outcomes, and initiatives.
- Lead workshops to document customer current state and assist sales teams in targeting future state architectures and roadmaps.
- Identify customer stakeholders and create technical solution approaches aligned to their success criteria.
- Analyze client requirements to determine target architecture and design solutions including hardware, software, cloud services, and managed services.
- Create and deliver compelling technical proposals to clients, including relevant drawings and diagrams.
- Maintain technical excellence across multiple solution architecture areas and participate in technical champion programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in presales activities and solution architecture, particularly in cloud migration.
- Strong technical acumen in AWS and related cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients at various levels.
- Ability to lead workshops and document technical requirements effectively.
- Experience in developing technical proposals and roadmaps.
