About the position

The Senior Guidance Content Solutions Architect at AWS will define and maintain architectural guidance aligned with the AWS Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks. This role focuses on helping customers adopt cloud technologies and operate efficient workloads while delivering business value. The position involves customer engagement, content creation, and collaboration with product teams to enhance AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex challenges faced by AWS customers, from startups to global enterprises.
• Provide leadership to a community of Subject Matter Experts to create prescriptive guidance content.
• Gather feedback from customers to understand their needs and technical challenges.
• Develop, validate, and publish customer-facing technical content such as reference architectures and best practices.
• Collaborate with AWS teams, Professional Services, and partners to maximize customer value.
• Influence adherence to AWS guidance among customers and stakeholders.
• Present advanced guidance content and lead educational sessions for customers.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on new features and capabilities.
• Lead organizational initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
• Create and validate a strategic roadmap with milestones and reviews.
• Mentor AWS field team members and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

• Technical degree required; bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect/Consultant in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience in technical thought leadership in infrastructure or cloud-computing.
• Experience in publishing technical blogs and papers on cloud best practices.
• Experience mentoring and developing emerging technical resources.
• Program management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant industry and technical cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional).
• Familiarity with AI/ML/GenAI technologies and their application in content management.
