About the position

The Senior Solutions Architect, Guidance Lead for AWS Cloud Optimization Success is responsible for defining and maintaining architectural guidance in line with AWS Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks. This role focuses on helping customers understand best practices for adopting cloud technologies, ensuring they operate secure, reliable, and cost-efficient workloads. The position involves customer engagement, content creation, and collaboration with product teams to enhance AWS offerings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to solve complex challenges faced by AWS customers.
• Act as a Thought Leader, guiding a community of Subject Matter Experts to create prescriptive content for AWS customers.
• Gather feedback from customers to understand their needs and ensure they derive maximum value from AWS.
• Collaborate and publish customer-facing technical content, including reference architectures and best practices.
• Support broader AWS teams and partners to deliver value to customers.
• Influence adherence to AWS guidance among customers and stakeholders.
• Present advanced guidance content and lead educational sessions for customers.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on new features and capabilities.
• Lead organizational initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
• Program-manage strategic roadmaps with milestones and reviews.
• Mentor AWS field team members and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

• Technical degree required; bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect/Consultant in a production environment.
• 3+ years of experience in technical thought leadership within infrastructure or cloud-computing.
• Experience in publishing technical blogs and papers on cloud architectural best practices.
• Experience mentoring and developing emerging technical resources.
• Program management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant industry and technical cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional).
• Familiarity with AI/ML/GenAI technologies and their application on content management lifecycle.
