Splunk is seeking a highly motivated and inherently curious individual to join our dynamic pre-sales team as a Senior Solutions Engineer in New England. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical advisor for our customers, advocating for their needs within Splunk. You will partner closely with the regional sales team to develop strategic and technical account and territory plans, ensuring that our solutions align with customer requirements and business objectives. Your ability to demonstrate Splunk's products and solutions, whether on-site or remotely, will be crucial in showcasing the value-based differentiators that set us apart in the market. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs, leveraging your strong technical fundamentals in relevant IT or security markets. You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral, to communicate complex ideas effectively to all levels of the business. Your organizational and analytical skills will help you eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches, ensuring a smooth sales process. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, with a consistent track record in technical software sales, and a desire to learn and grow within our expanding team. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic technical organization with a fast-growing customer base, and you must be available to travel to visit prospects and customers in the region.
