About the position

The Senior Solutions Manager role at Amazon Advertising LLC is a dynamic and strategic position that requires a blend of digital advertising expertise, project management skills, and strong relationship management capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and evolving innovative advertising programs for Amazon's largest clients. This involves leading unique sponsorship campaigns from the initial creative brief through to launch, collaborating closely with a Creative Director and a diverse team of Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Producers, and Strategists. Your focus will be on creating impactful work that not only meets client objectives but also enhances the customer experience. As a Senior Solutions Manager, you will manage the lifecycle of complex, cross-functional projects that have significant implications across North America. This includes owning program operations and execution, developing workflow and training documentation, and coordinating with account teams to ensure seamless execution. You will also be tasked with building a business rationale to prioritize your programs' roadmap, creating business requirements and user stories for feature enhancements, and working with design and technology teams to prototype and scale these enhancements. Your role will also involve tracking and reporting on performance metrics to ensure that the team delivers differentiated value against its objectives. You will leverage customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in programs and manage cross-functional bottlenecks, balancing business needs with technical constraints. Presenting confidently to senior management and preparing biweekly state of business reports will be key aspects of your responsibilities. This position reports to the WW Head of Premium Content Production and requires collaboration with various teams, including Prime Video, Studios, Advertising Sales, Marketing, PR, Engineering, and Design.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional projects and campaigns with considerable impact across North America.
  • Own program operations and execution, including workflow and training documentation, downstream planning and coordination with account teams.
  • Build business rationale to inform the prioritization of your programs' roadmap and downstream planning.
  • Build business requirements and user stories for proposed feature enhancements and work with Design Technologists and Art Directors to scope, prototype, build and scale.
  • Track and report on performance, ensuring the team is delivering differentiated value against its intended objective.
  • Leverage customer feedback to drive continuous program improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, assigning the team, and provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
  • Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.
  • Prepare biweekly state of business reports and share with Head of WW Content Production to inform XBRs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis experience.
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning.
  • Online advertising industry experience and/or previous business development/publisher experience are highly desired.
  • Passionate about advertising and have experience creating compelling solutions that work both for end-customers and advertisers.
  • Basic understanding of technical integration of concepts, and the ability to build relationships with marketing & product managers, sales stakeholders, dev managers, and designers.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
