About the position

The Learning Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Wilson Learning and Development team by managing training and development initiatives, particularly for MDCPs (Medical Device Combination Products). This position is responsible for executing the learning strategy, implementing capability plans, and driving process improvements to enhance training and qualification across the site. The specialist will also ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory standards while collaborating with various stakeholders to develop effective training solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Learning & Development organization to implement and improve standard site processes related to training and qualification.
  • Partner with business units to develop capability plans linked to job and leadership skills.
  • Identify needs for new training solutions and conduct external benchmarking to enhance learning and development.
  • Coordinate the authoring of QMS Topic 3.1 Training and Qualification annual health assessments.
  • Manage compliance documentation to ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Ensure accurate recording of training in compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Facilitate problem-solving for training and qualification issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan and manage the Customized Training Program in collaboration with local educational institutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Development.
  • High level of knowledge of Pharmaceutical Operations and E2E Business Processes.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, cGMP, and regulatory inspections.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in new product line launches.

Nice-to-haves

  • High level of working knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Basic understanding of change management methodologies.
