The Sr Spec-Talent Acquisition position at Federal Express Corporation is a critical role responsible for developing a proactive and strategic approach to building talent pipelines. Additionally, the role involves assessing the experiences of both managers and interns to improve future placements. The Sr Spec-Talent Acquisition will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of their requirements. This includes creating robust recruiting plans to attract highly qualified and diverse candidates while staying current on all factors that may impact recruitment, such as pay, employee benefits, and hiring practices. The role will also involve managing special projects, such as identifying and negotiating costs for new database searches and developing mentor guidelines for hiring managers. Furthermore, the individual will oversee the placement of graduates from the Leadership Development Program into entry-level leadership positions and will develop processes for database searches and social media recruitment efforts, monitoring their success and compliance. The position also requires serving as a resource and mentor to Talent Acquisition Specialists, reviewing databases, screening resumes, and facilitating the assessment and selection process, including conducting interviews. The role demands a strong focus on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, ensuring that all recruiting activities align with these standards.
