About the position

The Digital Merchandising Operations Sr. Specialist at Lane Bryant is a pivotal role responsible for managing and optimizing the digital product assortment across various online platforms. This position is integral to implementing strategies that maximize sales while enhancing the customer experience. The Sr. Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the digital merchandising strategies align with company goals and customer preferences. In this role, the Sr. Specialist will manage the digital product assortment, ensuring that products are accurately represented online. This includes monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with inventory planners to ensure that products are in stock and available for purchase. The position also requires optimizing product listings to meet platform requirements and best practices across various digital channels, including e-commerce sites and mobile applications. Additionally, the Sr. Specialist will become a subject matter expert in search optimization, recommendations, and product categorization. Daily responsibilities include performing site testing, promotional testing, and marketing experience testing, with a requirement to complete daily site testing before 7 am during on-call rotations. The role demands strong collaboration with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to digital merchandising.

Responsibilities

  • Implement digital merchandising strategies aligned with company goals and customer preferences.
  • Manage the digital product assortment, ensuring products are accurately represented online.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory planners to ensure products are in stock and available for purchase.
  • Optimize product listings and ensure they meet platform requirements and best practices for various digital channels (e-commerce sites, mobile apps, etc.).
  • Become a subject matter expert in search optimization, recommendations, and product categorization.
  • Perform daily site testing, promotional testing, and marketing experience testing, completing daily site testing before 7 am during on-call rotation.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for digital marketing and e-commerce trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
