The Sr Specialist, Product and Solutions Marketing plays a crucial role in supporting the Medical Segment Solutions business at Cardinal Health, specifically focusing on the Presource® Products and Services franchise. This position is integral to the development and commercialization of a diverse portfolio that includes Chemotherapy, Dental, Fluid Management, Lab, Organ Procurement, and Veterinary kits. The Presource® Products and Services franchise is dedicated to delivering insight-driven procedural solutions and products that enable customers to enhance efficiencies in patient care. The primary product managed in this role is the aggregation and delivery of procedure-specific bundles, which contain all necessary disposable intraoperative supplies for various surgical or medical procedures. The Presource® line encompasses over 18 kit product categories, 17+ GPO contracts, and more than 36,000 finished good SKUs, with an impressive shipping volume of over 83 million units annually. In this role, the Sr Specialist is responsible for both upstream and downstream strategies for the procedural portfolio of products. This includes planning and coordinating logistics for conferences, congresses, and events aimed at increasing product and brand awareness. The position involves preparing new product information, negotiating event space, determining event agendas, and coordinating marketing efforts for these events. Additionally, the role requires managing program budgets and measuring lead generation resulting from these events. The Sr Specialist will also analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to make informed product recommendations, ensuring that Cardinal Health remains competitive in the marketplace. The Sr Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop product strategies and manage the product life cycle from discovery and innovation through to product retirement. This role demands a proactive approach to gaining insights into competitors and understanding changing clinical practices, which will inform product development and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing and product management disciplines necessary for building effective business and product plans.
