The Sr Specialist, Product and Solutions Marketing plays a crucial role in supporting the Medical Segment Solutions business at Cardinal Health, specifically focusing on the Presource® Products and Services franchise. This position is integral to the development and commercialization of a diverse portfolio that includes Chemotherapy, Dental, Fluid Management, Lab, Organ Procurement, and Veterinary kits. The Presource® Products and Services franchise is dedicated to delivering insight-driven procedural solutions and products that enable customers to enhance efficiencies in patient care. The products managed within this franchise consist of procedure-specific bundles that contain all necessary disposable intraoperative supplies for various surgical or medical procedures. With over 18 kit product categories, 17+ GPO contracts, and more than 36,000 finished good SKUs, Presource® ships over 83 million units of product annually. In this role, the Sr Specialist is responsible for both upstream and downstream strategies for the procedural portfolio of products. This includes planning and coordinating logistics for conferences, congresses, and events aimed at increasing product and brand awareness. The position involves preparing new product information, negotiating event space, determining event agendas, coordinating marketing efforts, and managing program budgets. Additionally, the role requires measuring lead generation resulting from these events, ensuring that marketing efforts translate into tangible business results. The Sr Specialist will also analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to make informed product recommendations. This involves translating market insights into clearly defined product requirements and strategies, managing the product life cycle from discovery to retirement, and executing projects to enhance the penetration of Cardinal branded products. As a procedural and product expert, the Sr Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective product strategies that align with market demands and drive sustainable economic success.
