The Supply Chain Data Analytics Sr. Specialist at Emergent BioSolutions plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of Supply Chain governance and analytics solutions. This position is integral to ensuring effective analytics and project/portfolio management within the organization. The specialist will be responsible for gathering and progressing analytics and reporting requests, generating monthly metrics and reports, and enhancing the delivery mechanisms for these reports and metrics. Additionally, the role involves managing IT-facing ticket requests to ensure that priority tickets are handled efficiently, thereby improving the ticket monitoring process from a non-IT perspective. In terms of project governance, the Sr. Specialist will support the management and administration of project reviews with senior leaders, develop and maintain Smartsheet and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to meet global project needs, and ensure the entry and maintenance of project data in Smartsheet and BI. The specialist will also present project status reviews to the leadership team using standardized tools and assist in the upgrades and improvements of these project solutions. Training and communication regarding the governance tools and processes will also be part of the responsibilities. For analytics and reporting, the specialist will generate monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from source data, administer and maintain data for the request and delivery process, and follow up with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and IT support staff to ensure timely delivery of metrics and reporting. The role will also involve assisting in the generation of new KPIs and developing reporting guidelines in collaboration with SMEs and leaders. Training on analytics tools and processes will be provided to ensure compliance and understanding among team members. In terms of ticket administration, the specialist will assist in developing and implementing a ticket monitoring process for IT ticket performance, administer the ticket monitoring process, and follow up with SMEs and IT resources to ensure timely resolution of tickets. This includes meeting with requesters and IT as necessary to facilitate progress on ticket resolutions.
