About the position

The Sr Specialist, Integration and Test Engineering (Hardware Integration) position at L3Harris focuses on supporting System Integration and Test (SI&T) engineers and Mission Operations Trainers. This role is customer-centric, aimed at educating customers on proprietary technologies and fostering strong relationships to drive business growth. Responsibilities include delivering training materials, supporting integration and test execution, and managing program equipment inventory.

Responsibilities

• Support System Integration and Test (SI&T) engineers and Mission Operations Trainers.
• Deliver training materials and knowledge to customers in a clear manner.
• Assist in the integration and test execution by setting up electro-mechanical systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble subassemblies for system level testing.
• Inspect optical components for damage during testing processes.
• Inventory program equipment and maintain inventory databases.
• Order hardware as needed.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient knowledge of job area.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of basic shop math such as ratios, graphs, algebra, and basic geometry.
• Military trainer certifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Experience with handling ESD sensitive components.
• Familiarity with data acquisition monitoring and controls.
• Experience with oscilloscopes and other electrical precision measuring equipment.
