About the position

This is a hands-on position and requires engineers to optimize and execute chemical and mechanical processes in the fabrication of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The primary responsibilities include executing processes such as photolithography, etching, via plating, mechanical and laser drilling, and vacuum lamination. The candidate will incorporate new processes and tools as they become available and will perform continuous improvement activities in the build flow. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for performing inspections of build parameters, generating and tracking metrics, and creating work and build instructions. The role requires interpreting PCB drawings and CAD files to build PCBs, demonstrating good attention to detail, and being highly interactive. The candidate must be willing to work in a team environment and learn new skills while rotating between manufacturing operations. Responsibilities also include performing a variety of chemical and mechanical processing operations, generating sequences of operations for PCB fabrication using established procedures, and documenting new procedures. The candidate will also be expected to perform basic adjustments to systems and processes to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
