About the position

The Sr. Specialist SA, Cloud Engineering, GenAI/ML position at AWS involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Generative AI solutions. The role focuses on helping customers design and implement solutions that leverage AWS's Generative AI services, while also driving the adoption of these services across various customer use cases. The position requires collaboration with other Solution Architects and Data Scientists, as well as the development of technical materials to support customer engagement and feedback gathering.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
