About the position

The Sr. Specialist SA, Cloud Engineering, GenAI/ML position at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focuses on leveraging generative AI to help customers design and implement innovative solutions. This role involves direct customer interaction to understand their business challenges, guiding them in the adoption of generative AI services, and collaborating with other Solution Architects to drive large-scale use cases. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer engagement to influence product development and enhance AWS's offerings in the generative AI space.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
