About the position

The Sr SQL Developer SSIS Expert is responsible for developing and maintaining SQL Server databases and ETL applications using SSIS. This role requires extensive experience in SQL Server development, T-SQL coding, and data warehousing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interfacing with enterprise systems and familiarity with the Microsoft BI Stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Code T-SQL including dynamic SQL.
• Develop ETL applications using SSIS.
• Implement data warehouse development best practices.
• Create reconciliation and validation frameworks.
• Load data into normalized and/or Star schemas.
• Utilize best practice SSIS design patterns.
• Interface programmatically with various enterprise systems.
• Manage source code using TFS.

Requirements

• 7+ years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014, 2016, 2017).
• 7+ years of experience coding T-SQL, including dynamic SQL.
• 5-7 years of SSIS development experience.
• Experience in data warehouse development using SSIS/SQL best practices.
• Working knowledge of loading data into normalized and/or Star schemas.
• Experience with best practice SSIS design patterns.
• Demonstrated skill in interfacing with enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with source code management systems (TFS).
• Experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSAS/SSRS) is a plus.
