The Sr. SQL Developer position is a contract role focused on enhancing and migrating the reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) program for a company undergoing significant changes. The ideal candidate will be a mid-senior level SQL Developer with a strong background in creating and modifying advanced SQL queries and stored procedures. This role is crucial as the company seeks to revamp its BI capabilities, and the selected candidate will be expected to interface effectively with business stakeholders, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the team. The position offers a hybrid work structure for those local to Dallas, TX, while remote work is available for candidates located elsewhere. The contract duration is expected to last between 4 to 6 months, during which the developer will play a key role in executing the migration and enhancement of the BI program. In this role, the developer will spend approximately 90% of their time on SQL development tasks, with the remaining 10% dedicated to other technologies. Daily responsibilities will include hands-on development work, which will account for about 80% of the role, while the remaining 20% will involve collaboration with team members. The company is looking for someone who can quickly adapt and execute tasks, ensuring that the BI program meets the evolving needs of the business. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis, both now and in the future.
