As a Senior Database Developer at Insight Global, you will leverage your extensive expertise in SQL development to deliver high-quality solutions and services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure optimal performance. You will perform daily checks of database services and systems to guarantee their availability, and monitor database management systems for health metrics such as memory and CPU usage. In this role, you will assist software developers with query design and tuning, and perform Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) of data as necessary. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues within database management systems during service reductions or failures. Additionally, you will consult with system architects and software developers on the design of database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and indices. Your duties will also involve developing, monitoring, and maintaining any database jobs necessary to ensure the health of the database servers. You will ensure that the settings for the database server and individual databases are appropriate to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
