The Senior Program Manager is required to oversee complex product and program realization by coordinating with cross-functional teams from Global Regions (such as Canada, USA, China, Thailand, and Europe). The Senior Program Manager ensures that Design Assist, Design for Manufacturing/Cost (DFx), Joint Design and Manufacturing (JDM), and Value Added Value Engineering (VAVE) Continuous Improvement process projects are implemented to expand product line margin. The Senior Program Manager ensures that projects are smoothly transitioned to MFG, coordination with site customer focused teams is established to meet contractual margin commitments, and our customers' expectations are exceeded to improve yield, increase reliability, and deliver cost saving. They manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs. They are responsible for managing large projects with complex scope, multiple streams of work and inter-dependencies. The role involves managing multiple high visibility programs of high complexity and/or business impact. The Senior Program Manager will lead cross-functional, global core teams, kick off programs, establish schedules, and drive meetings. They will present to and communicate with segment/LOB business leaders, lead and develop company-wide, cross-functional or complex process initiatives or business strategy, and demonstrate the ability to grow cross-functional team members by identifying development opportunities and coaching Program Core Team members. The position requires excellent customer contact, negotiation, and problem resolution skills, as well as fluency in financial costing. The Senior Program Manager will also be responsible for daily program management throughout the program life, driving the program core team to meet or exceed program objectives, defining program governance, managing the program's budget, and coordinating the projects and their interdependencies. They will align the deliverables to the program's outcome with the aid of the business change manager and manage the main program documentation, such as the Program Initiation document. Additionally, they will set yearly plans and goals for the department, provide regular performance evaluations, and ongoing feedback, being accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.
