About the position

The Systems Integrator for HP system integration efforts plays a crucial role in the systems engineering discipline, which is a cross-functional approach that balances both business and technical needs to deliver quality products that meet user requirements. This position involves a comprehensive process that spans from concept to production and operation, ensuring that all aspects of system design, creation, and optimization are executed effectively. The Systems Integrator is responsible for identifying and quantifying system requirements, creating alternative design concepts, performing design trade studies, and selecting the best designs for implementation. Additionally, the role requires verification that the design is properly integrated and executed, impacting the team's ability to meet service, quality, and timeliness objectives. The position operates under specific policy objectives and requires a moderate level of autonomy, demanding high levels of operational judgment to achieve the desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing integration process for interfaces, cross-section, digital engine, and product configuration structure.
  • Defining product or system requirements and managing flow-down and compliance.
  • Coordinating interface between components and execution organization.
  • Managing the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
  • Leading integration and reporting of overall system metrics such as weight or other KPIs.
  • Interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project leadership.
