About the position

In this role at Pinterest, you will develop and execute a cohesive Shopping strategy and roadmap, collaborating closely with various stakeholders including executives, product teams, engineering, and design. Your focus will be on building innovative shopping features that align with user intent, helping users find inspiration and products they wish to purchase. You will also mentor peer product managers within the Shopping team, fostering capability and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a cohesive Shopping strategy and roadmap in partnership with Executive, Product, Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build innovative new shopping features that tap into the unique user intent on Pinterest.
• Create products that help users find inspiration, browse products, and ultimately find the item they want to buy.
• Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, research, marketing, legal, strategy, and other product managers to define, measure, and drive execution.
• Mentor and build capability in peer product managers within Shopping.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fast-growing companies.
• Strong product sense and ability to collaborate and get buy-in from stakeholders while setting a longer-term vision.
• Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments, aligning across functions, teams, and organizations to deliver on time in a highly collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical skills to define product strategy and drive decision-making, making appropriate trade-offs based on data analysis and qualitative feedback from Pinners.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in advertising, social media, and/or ecommerce is a plus but not required.

• Base salary range of $174,071 — $358,072 USD
