About the position

Rivian is seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Staff Program Manager, Business and Digital Strategy, Remarketing to join our team and lead the development and enhancement of our automotive products within the remarketing and sales domain. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of our automotive offerings, ensuring that they align with the company's mission to keep the world adventurous forever. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for automotive technology, a strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams toward achieving product excellence. In this position, you will work closely with various teams, including engineering, design, marketing, remarketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and launch. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional alignment across strategic efforts aimed at increasing Rivian's new and used vehicle sales. Your ability to communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals will be crucial. You will also align with business stakeholders on requirements and goals associated with each product, facilitating efficient decision-making regarding trade-offs and future improvements. Conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape will be a key part of your role. You will analyze data and insights to make informed decisions and adjust product strategies as necessary. Overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept through production and market introduction, you will need to be dynamic and responsive to business needs, ensuring timely delivery of products that meet quality standards and customer expectations. Gathering feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams will be essential for continuously improving product offerings. As the product champion, you will represent the product vision and value proposition to both external and internal stakeholders, tracking product performance and key metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement. Implementing optimization strategies based on performance data and user feedback will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, remarketing and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Drive cross functional alignment across strategic efforts to increase Rivian's new and used vehicle sales.

  • Align with business (Remarketing and Sales) on business requirements and goals associated with each product to drive efficient decision making between trade-offs and future improvements.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data and insights to make informed decisions and adjust product strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept through production and market introduction, ability to be dynamic and responsive to business needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Gather feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to continuously improve product offerings.
  • Act as the product champion, representing the product vision and value proposition to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Track product performance and key metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement optimization strategies based on performance data and user feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7-10 Years of Automotive experience (Retail + OEM).
  • 3+ Years experience working in an OEM, Electric OEM is preferred.
  • 3+ Years of Senior Level leadership experience and Executive level communication is a requirement.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product and program lifecycles and launching new products.
  • Strong understanding of automotive technology and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
