About the position

The Sr Staff Technical Product Manager for Edison Works DT Shop Floor Operations at GE Aerospace is responsible for managing complex projects that enhance shop floor capabilities and supply chain management solutions. This role involves defining, deploying, and maintaining technology solutions that support the prototyping, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of business products. The position requires collaboration with various functional partners to create a strategic direction for digital products and processes, ensuring scalable growth in technology use.

Responsibilities

• Execute on simultaneous projects and initiatives through strong collaboration with business teams to understand requirements and priorities
• Define a clear and descriptive set of requirements, captured as stories, and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt
• Drive seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, and Product Owners
• Demonstrates understanding of key cross functional concepts that impact the company, business priorities, & organizational dynamics
• Performs initial and final financial reviews and ensure ongoing budget tracking
• Positively & collaboratively lead the business through change

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Product Management or IT
• Experience with manufacturing management processes and tools including shop floor manufacturing machines and inspection technologies
• Experience working with manufacturing execution software solutions and their design and deployment
• Experience with manufacturing shop floor automation technologies
• Active US DOD Security Clearance
• Understanding and knowledge of DT Security control frameworks (i.e. NIST, ISO, etc.) as well regulatory requirements impacting DT systems (i.e. DFARS, ITAR, DoD/MoD, etc.)
• PMP, Security+, or related certifications
• Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
• Self-starter who collaborates well with others to solve problems
