About the position

The Sr. Staff Technical Product Manager at GE Vernova International LLC is responsible for leading product management efforts, focusing on inbound product management to set the product vision and roadmap. This role requires deep expertise in collaborating with customers and stakeholders, managing complex product features, and ensuring alignment between engineering and customer needs. The position involves mentoring junior team members, providing technical leadership, and engaging with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product releases.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.
• Work with customers and business stakeholders to set the product vision and roadmap.
• Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) requirements and obtain product feedback.
• Collaborate with UX, Architecture, and engineering teams on product issues and decisions.
• Own the release and sprint backlogs for MVPs and regular production releases.
• Establish partnerships with Quality Engineering and Build and Release Engineering teams for successful releases.
• Engage with the development team to facilitate discussions and provide clarifications.
• Translate unstructured work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
• Mentor junior team members and provide oversight on large projects.
• Provide technical leadership to other PMs and TPMs across the organization.
• Serve as an expert in Agile Methodology and coach others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a related software development occupation.
• 4 years of experience in a technical product management role.
• 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Service Cloud Technologies and Micro-Service Architectural patterns.
• 2 years of subject matter expertise in field service management software for wind site operations.
