About the position

The Sr. Staff Technical Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with Logistics stakeholders in Supply Chain to develop the WMS Product roadmap. This role involves creating a strategic direction for development needs, conveying that vision to the build and operations teams, and ensuring seamless integration and alignment among various stakeholders including Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners, and Developers. The position requires a deep understanding of the Oracle WMS technology stack and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge to gain a competitive edge.
  • Interact with customers/stakeholders for VOC requirements-gathering and product feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and complex products.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the Oracle WMS technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Demonstrate expert persuasion and influencing skills to ensure alignment between customer, product manager, and engineering teams.
  • Own the release and sprint backlogs for MVPs and quarterly releases.
  • Demonstrate strategic skills in problem decomposition and navigate through ambiguity.
  • Engage frequently with the development team to facilitate discussions and provide clarifications.
  • Translate unstructured work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
  • Partner with Development Leadership to ensure a healthy development process.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Provide technical leadership to TPMs across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, or an associate's degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a STEM field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Oracle Fusion/WMS Cloud experience.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple business and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain business processes.
  • Lean practice experience including Kaizens and VSMs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX and CMMC.
