About the position

The Sr. Staff Technical Product Manager will oversee products in the Services Contract Financials category, including Clearview CMR and Customer Risk. This role involves collaborating with product management teams to establish strategic directions, managing product requirements, and ensuring seamless integration across various stakeholders. The position requires a strong understanding of technology and product management, with a focus on delivering complex products and features while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge to gain a competitive edge.
  • Interact with customers/stakeholders for VOC requirements-gathering and product feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and complex products.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Collaborate with UX, Architecture, and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas.
  • Own the release and sprint backlogs for MVPs and quarterly releases, ensuring backlog readiness.
  • Engage frequently with the development team to facilitate discussions and provide clarifications.
  • Translate unstructured work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership to TPMs across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, or an associate degree with 8 years, or a high school diploma with 10 years of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management or IT.
  • Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with versatile implementation options.
  • Knowledge of technical topics such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security.
  • Experience in supporting Financial systems, SOX compliance, and Data Analytics/reporting.

  • Experience in product management within the aerospace industry.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and problem decomposition.
