About the position

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, focusing on the design and analysis of structures that support heavy load-moving and restraining systems. Our company is renowned for its innovative solutions in the offshore drilling, floating production, and shipyard markets. You will be responsible for developing engineering solutions that ensure the safety and efficiency of our products, which are critical in lifting and positioning heavy equipment. Your expertise will contribute to projects involving skidding, leveling, and restraining systems, as well as mooring and riser pull-in systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs that meet industry standards and client specifications. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of structural analysis and civil engineering principles to create robust designs. You will be expected to conduct thorough analyses using advanced software tools such as RISA, Solidworks, and MathCAD. Your ability to interpret complex engineering data and translate it into practical solutions will be essential. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in structural engineering. Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for heavy load-moving and restraining applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions for offshore drilling platforms, floating production units, and shipyards.
  • Utilize software tools such as RISA, Solidworks, and MathCAD for structural analysis and design.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on structural engineering best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications in all engineering designs.

Requirements

  • PE Licensure in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Civil Engineering principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering.
  • Familiarity with heavy load-moving and restraining systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Solidworks PDM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
