About the position

The Sr. Supply Chain and Property Manager at Kuiper Government Solutions is responsible for managing supply chain operations and property logistics for both government and commercial assets. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams and operational stakeholders to optimize supplier relationships, pricing, and delivery performance. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with government regulations and effective vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the tactical implementation of KGS's supply chain risk management plan.
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
• Own KGS vendor management, developing spend strategies, identifying potential suppliers, and managing daily purchasing activities.
• Work with engineers on procurement strategy and Bill of Materials to ensure preferred vendor selection in accordance with customer requirements.
• Be responsible for execution and review of the KGS Business System modules for logistics, inventory, and property management.
• Provide strategic guidance to area leadership teams, bringing deep knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, inventory, and property management best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) and/or inventory management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years working in operational supply chain management and/or logistics management.
• At least 5 years experience with delivering on Supply Chain and Property via FAR/DFAR requirements.
• At least 5 years experience preparing and delivering state of the business documents and presentations.
• At least 5 years demonstrating the ability to execute and document business operations.

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years of experience with Aerospace and Defense Government portfolio.
• 10+ years of Excel experience and strong analytical skills required to organize and analyze supply chain challenges.
• Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and supply chain logistics for space application technologies.
• Experience preparing and delivering state of the business documents and presentations.
• Experience operating with global customers both government and commercial.
