About the position

The Sr. Supply Chain and Property Manager at Kuiper Government Solutions will be responsible for managing supply chain operations, vendor relationships, and logistics for both government and commercial assets. This role requires collaboration with engineering teams and operational stakeholders to ensure optimal supplier performance, pricing, and delivery. The position involves strategic oversight of inventory and property management, as well as the execution of supply chain risk management plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the tactical implementation of KGS's supply chain risk management plan.
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
• Own KGS vendor management, including developing spend strategies and managing daily purchasing activities.
• Work with engineers on procurement strategy and Bill of Materials to ensure preferred vendor selection.
• Be responsible for execution and review of the KGS Business System modules for logistics, inventory, and property management.
• Provide strategic guidance to area leadership teams regarding supply chain processes and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) and/or inventory management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years working in operational supply chain management and/or logistics management.
• At least 5 years experience with delivering on Supply Chain and Property via FAR/DFAR requirements.
• At least 5 years experience preparing and delivering state of the business documents and presentations.
• At least 5 years demonstrating the ability to execute and document business operations.

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years of experience with Aerospace and Defense Government portfolio.
• 10+ years of Excel experience and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and supply chain logistics for space application technologies.
• Experience operating with global customers both government and commercial.
• Experience with DoD/IC/NASA projects.
