This senior demand planner role will have primary responsibility for Supply Chain activities within the assigned Platforms and Product Lines to achieve business objectives, customer service goals, and optimize inventory. The role will be responsible for forecasting, inputs to SIOP and IBP for the given product portfolios in alignment with market and financial requirements with the highest goal of increasing forecast accuracy. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of forecasting strategy, demonstrate initiative, and possess strong communication skills. We are the makers of possible. Essential responsibilities include utilizing analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively forecast global product requirements across a high mix portfolio. The candidate will lead the monthly demand SIOP reviews with cross-functional business teams, lead process improvement solutions to increase demand forecast accuracy and bias, and monitor demand in real-time to highlight variances from the forecast to proactively identify potential service issues and mitigate future customer impact. The role also involves leading the demand planning aspects for new product launches, calculating stocking strategy requirements for new product launches, and being responsible for product phase-out planning, including actions to minimize inventory scrap. Additionally, the candidate will partner with global supply planners to understand impacts to supply plans and proactively mitigate risk to customer service, inventory levels, and cost.
