About the position

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that the cloud remains operational and efficient. The role involves collaborating with a diverse team to manage supply chain activities, particularly for new product introductions (NPI), while maintaining high standards for safety and security. The position requires a candidate with supply chain and operations experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, focusing on strategic planning, performance improvement, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic plans that improve service, productivity, and quality, aligning with organizational and customer vision.
• Develop and implement systems of accountability for ongoing performance improvement.
• Understand technical requirements and collaborate with internal development teams to guide supply chain activities.
• Prepare and present detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management regarding new product launches or transitions.
• Drive strategic BOM reviews and qualifications with internal teams.
• Own the supply chain strategy for NPI programs, ensuring material readiness during prototype and qualification phases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
