About the position

The Senior Supply Chain Program Manager at Campbell's is a pivotal role that reports directly to the AVP of Productivity and Network Optimization. This position is designed to enhance the company's supply chain performance to world-class standards. The individual in this role will be responsible for structuring workstreams, developing project and program plans, monitoring progress, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). Effective communication of program status to stakeholders both within and outside the Supply Chain is crucial, as is the proactive management of risks to ensure that program deliverables are met on time and with high quality. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with Supply Chain Category Leadership and providing regular updates on key initiatives that support profitable growth. Although primarily an individual contributor role, the Senior Supply Chain Program Manager will also manage team members on various projects to achieve program goals. In terms of responsibilities, the Senior Supply Chain Program Manager will act as the voice of Supply Chain on project teams, focusing on commercialization, margin improvement initiatives, and network optimization. This includes ensuring seamless integration and execution across various Supply Chain functions such as Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement. The role involves robust communication with information owners to create a holistic view of projects and processes within the supply chain. The manager will support continuous improvement processes with cross-functional partners and plant teams, leading initiatives that span margin improvement, capital spending, and business continuity. Additionally, the Senior Supply Chain Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and processes that enhance supply chain performance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant leads and Category Leads, is essential for ensuring alignment and collaboration. The role also encompasses overseeing the development and execution of supply chain risk management strategies to minimize integration impacts and ensure business continuity. Presenting comprehensive updates on New Product Development and startup performance to senior supply chain leadership will be a key aspect of the role, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. The position also involves leading complex supply chain projects, defining their scope and objectives, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery. The Senior Supply Chain Program Manager will prepare and present project updates to senior management, guiding the project team through change management activities to enhance acceptance and implementation of new processes and technologies. Strategic thought leadership is a critical component of this role, as the manager will advise on Network Optimization projects and provide direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and fostering innovation. The role requires a strong analytical mindset to conduct strategic analysis and scenario planning, preparing Campbell's Supply Chain for future challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Supply Chain voice on project teams for commercialization and margin improvement initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration and execution with other Supply Chain functions, including Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement.
• Provide robust communication for a holistic view of project/process in the supply chain.
• Support Continuous Improvement processes with cross-functional partners and plant teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and processes that improve supply chain performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and execution of supply chain risk management strategies.
• Present updates on New Product Development and startup performance to senior supply chain leadership.
• Drive the standardization of supply chain processes and best practices across the organization.
• Lead complex supply chain projects in defining scope, objectives, and execution.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Guide the project team through change management activities to improve acceptance of new processes and technologies.
• Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Conduct strategic analysis and scenario planning to address business needs and gaps.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership on supply chain commercialization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain roles, process & project management, and/or operational strategy.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Demonstrated management, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Ability to challenge conventional wisdom as a change agent.
• Strong analytical skills to convey insights rather than just data.
• Skilled in priority management and balancing multiple stakeholder interests.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong financial background and general business acumen.
• Drive for results with strong initiative and self-motivation.
