About the position

The position involves leading the overall solution development as the primary interface with various departments including Sales, Engineering/Operations, and Technology. The role is crucial in aligning deliverables with the overall project goals throughout the project lifecycle. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing supply chain solutions that support both internal and external customers, as well as corporate initiatives. This includes providing guidance and recommendations that enhance the sales process and improve the organization's ability to differentiate and add value to the overall solution and sales strategy for both new and existing customers. In addition, the role requires evaluating customer business needs and industry insights to establish a high-level strategy for executing supply chain improvements. This will be based on the services and capabilities offered, utilizing quality tools and processes. The individual will lead multiple complex assignments concurrently, working both independently and as a leader of cross-functional teams, while interacting with internal and external customers. The position also involves leading brainstorming and review sessions to develop recommendations, ensuring that industry best practices and methods are applied to projects. Mentorship and guidance to less senior team members is also a key aspect of this role. The position is hybrid, based in Memphis, TN, but remote candidates will also be considered. The pay range for this position is between $6,988 and $12,443 per month, reflecting the level of expertise and experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall solution development as the key interface with Sales, Engineering/Operations, Technology, and other internal resources.
  • Design, develop, and implement supply chain solutions in support of internal/external customers and/or corporate initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations that support the sales process and improve the organization's ability to differentiate and add value to the overall solution and sales strategy.
  • Evaluate customer business needs and industry insights to establish high-level strategy for executing supply chain improvements.
  • Lead multiple complex assignments concurrently while working individually and/or leading peer/cross functional teams with internal/external customer interaction.
  • Lead brainstorming and review sessions to develop recommendations while ensuring industry best practices and methods are applied to projects.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to less senior team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years business experience in a supply chain related field, including designing, maintaining, and/or implementing solutions to complex business situations.
  • Ability to project manage and work on multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to present solutions to customers and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced skills with business software, spreadsheet applications, and presentation applications.
  • Embraces learning and continual improvement.
