About the position

The Sr. Survey Research Analyst (Data Manager) is responsible for comprehensive survey data management for Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) and other surveys. This remote position involves overseeing the entire survey process from study start-up to closure, ensuring compliance with protocols, and maintaining data quality through effective communication with project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage PRO survey data activities from study start-up to closure.
  • Ensure study protocol and consent accurately describe PRO content and data management.
  • Provide updates on survey development and data management to study operations teams.
  • Build and document PRO survey forms in Qualtrics and test integrations with PROMIS API and Salesforce.
  • Coordinate and perform data extracts and quality checks.
  • Identify problems and communicate corrective actions to study teams.
  • Develop paper versions of PRO surveys and ensure form quality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for survey data capture and storage.
  • Support troubleshooting of survey technical issues during data collection.
  • Develop study-specific PRO procedure and instruction documents.
  • Track and report ongoing PRO compliance.
  • Support protocol and study operations teams in data management reporting.
  • Participate in process development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with survey data collection and management, including 2 years in survey design and development.
  • Strong working knowledge of survey design and data management, including experience with cloud-based survey platforms.
  • Proficiency in computer skills across multiple applications.
  • Ability to communicate survey design to clinical study teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to acquire and apply new technical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or Life Sciences/Healthcare.
  • Experience with survey data collection, management, and design in clinical research settings.
  • Programming experience in Qualtrics.
  • Expertise with reporting tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Looker, or SAS.
  • Experience with software integration technologies.
