The Sr Svc Processor in Accounts Receivable at Lincoln Financial is responsible for performing and delivering on both routine and progressively more complex assignments related to incoming payments. This role requires independent execution of established procedures and guidelines to ensure accurate data entry processing, which includes preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting on account transactions across various lines of business. The position also involves sharing knowledge of accounts receivable and general ledger practices with team members to enhance the technical capabilities of the assigned area. In this role, the processor will build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and implement continuous improvement solutions. Collaboration with peers and management is essential to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency. The processor will communicate trends, process improvements, and any issues to management in a timely manner, ensuring that all transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. The position requires the identification, research, and resolution of increasingly complex transactions and discrepancies by analyzing documentation and applying relevant knowledge. Maintaining accounting ledgers through verification, posting, and correction of assigned account transactions is a key responsibility. The processor will also make routine and progressively more complex decisions independently, adhering to established guidelines, and will be expected to meet or exceed departmental quality and efficiency standards. Additionally, the role involves performing a diverse range of tasks utilizing common systems and applications, applying expanded knowledge gained from the position to handle more complex situations. The processor will provide guidance to less experienced team members and support departmental initiatives, working both independently and collaboratively to process payments in a timely manner. Overtime may be required as needed to meet deadlines.
