About the position

The Senior Software QA Engineer (White-box) role is focused on enhancing automation framework features, developing tools, and integrating automation into the software development lifecycle. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to minimize manual efforts and ensure that testing meets business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test automation framework.
• Develop Testing Tools, Utilities and Libraries.
• Problem Solving - debug and troubleshoot blocking issues in automation scripts or frameworks.
• Implement/Enhance Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI / CD).
• Collaborate in Test Strategy Development.
• Define Automation Standards and Best Practices.
• Collaborate with Cross functional Teams.
• Monitor and Analyze Test Results.
• Training and Mentorship of QA engineers and developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of working experience in SQA fields.
• Proficiency in designing and developing scalable, stable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with popular test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium).
• Proficiency in agile software development release process, CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
• Knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools (e.g., man, SoapUI, Curl).
• Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Strong skills in diagnosing issues within the automation framework and scripts.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 or more years of software development experience using Python or Java.
