About the position

The Sr Systems Analyst position at Universal Health Services is a full-time role focused on resolving computer hardware and software applications utilized by Manatee Healthcare System customers across Local and Wide Area Networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting software and hardware applications on workstations, servers, and network devices. This role requires a commitment to demonstrating Service Excellence at all times and may involve other duties as assigned. Manatee Memorial Hospital, part of the Manatee Healthcare System, has been serving the communities of Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Responsibilities

  • Resolve computer hardware and software applications used by Manatee Healthcare System customers on Local and Wide Area Networks.
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot software and hardware applications on workstations, servers, and network devices.
  • Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associate's Degree with 5 years of experience in healthcare technology with Information Technology Specialty Certification(s).
  • Minimum 5 years of PC hardware and software experience in a Microsoft environment.
  • Preferred experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis techniques and procedures for determining hardware, software, and system-specific functions with identified project stakeholders.
  • Experience in systems implementation throughout the entire lifecycle and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
