The Sr Systems Analyst position at Blaze is a critical role within the Information Technology department, primarily responsible for production support, project implementation, and maintenance of all systems and applications that are essential for the operation of Blaze's business. This includes managing the core banking platform, accounting and profitability systems, card and ATM processing, and monitoring third-party integrations related to the core systems. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the systems in place and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. In this position, the analyst will engage in various tasks such as completing analysis, configuration, maintenance, and support of the Core Financial System. This involves deploying and maintaining core business applications, which includes managing servers, associated hardware, network endpoints, database storage, and backup devices. The analyst will also be responsible for resolving IT requests and system inquiries from internal associates and business partners, ensuring that best practices are implemented to protect data, and assisting in the development of test plans for systems disaster recovery. The role also encompasses project implementation, where the analyst will provide functional specifications for the Core Financial System, identify user needs, analyze options, and evaluate functionality. The analyst will participate in all phases of the project life cycle, with a strong emphasis on design, development, and testing. Additionally, the analyst will serve as an advisor to IT Technology Specialists, demonstrating leadership and mentoring qualities to motivate and train others. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is essential, including adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act. The analyst is expected to embody Blaze's 5A culture, which emphasizes Ambassador, Achievement, Ambition, Ability, and Attitude. Regular attendance and the ability to perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operations are also key components of this role.
