About the position
The position involves deploying and supporting compute and storage infrastructure across various locations, primarily focusing on Azure Cloud infrastructure while also managing on-premises environments. The role requires collaboration with a dedicated DevOps team and support for customer requests related to virtualization and server administration. The candidate will also assist in managing corporate environments, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services.
Responsibilities
- Deploy compute and storage infrastructure across the organization
- Support customer requests around Azure Cloud infrastructure
- Assist in developing and testing environments at multiple locations
- Support on-prem Cisco UCS or HP hardware and pure storage
- Manage virtualization using VMware, including Windows and Linux VMs
- Support corporate environment services such as Active Directory, O365, Exchange Online, and Teams
- Help the service desk team with support for various services
- Build new VMs in Azure and manage storage account permissions
- Administer standard server operations, preferably on Windows
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Azure infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell and networking protocols
- Familiarity with VMware, including Vcenter and USXi host
- Experience with infrastructure support in Google Cloud environment (GCP)
- Knowledge of server hardware management (Cisco UCS, HPe Synergy, HPe DL360)
- Experience with DNS/DHCP administration
- Familiarity with backup software like Veeam and Cohesity
- Experience with security tools like Qualys, CyberArk, and SentinelOne
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform
