About the position

As a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to integrate, debug, verify, and test systems that support advanced Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (ISR) sensors. This role involves working in a collaborative environment to ensure that sensor and software integrations meet stringent customer requirements, contributing to the development of cutting-edge electronic intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Integration, Verification, & Validation of Requirements for sensors within a sensor integration lab
  • Write procedures for testing requirements and capabilities
  • Support customer demonstrations on a periodic basis
  • Interact with other multi-disciplinary technical team members and project management teams
  • Perform system and component-level tests of hardware, software, and networked sensors in a lab environment using automated and manual tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with integration and deployment of networked sensors and the software that enables that integration
  • Experience with testing/debugging software, including graphical user interfaces, and documenting results in bug tracking software
  • Familiar with and capable of debugging computer networks, TCP/IP & UDP protocols
  • Familiar with LINUX computer operating systems, system commands, bash scripting, and cybersecurity
  • Understands requirements management, systems design, systems integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
  • Experience creating technical documentation, test plans & procedures, and test reports
  • Ability to execute test procedures and document results
  • Experience with general purpose RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum/network analyzers, and oscilloscopes
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques as applicable to signals intelligence
  • A subject matter expert on Electronics Intelligence (ELINT) and Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems and the missions they support
  • Ability to contribute to technical designs
