About the position
The Sr. Tableau Developer role is a long-term remote contract position focused on data visualization and analysis using Tableau and SQL. The position involves collaborating with business stakeholders to design and implement effective visualizations that support business needs, while also working closely with data engineering teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design data visualizations (reports and dashboards) using Tableau.
- Support the team by understanding business and data requirements, iteratively designing visualizations for internal stakeholders.
- Write complex SQL queries on a daily basis to extract and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teammates to review design, code, and test plans.
- Deliver end-to-end project implementations in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Communicate effectively with business teams to gather requirements and present findings.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Business Intelligence experience with a focus on Tableau Development.
- Strong experience in data warehouse database technology, particularly in EDW environments like Snowflake.
- Proven ability to deliver projects successfully to business teams.
- Demonstrated experience in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience in data analysis and creating effective data visualizations.
Nice-to-haves
