About the position

The Sr. Tableau Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and create intuitive visual representations using Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports that transform complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into Tableau solutions.
• Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and usability.
• Create and maintain documentation for Tableau solutions, including best practices, standards, and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards and data visualizations.
• Stay updated on Tableau best practices, new features, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep Builder.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while being a proactive team player.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Nice-to-haves

• Tableau certification(s) are a plus.
• Experience with other BI tools or data visualization software.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
