About the position

The Sr. Tableau Developer will be responsible for developing and managing Tableau dashboards and data sources, ensuring effective data visualization and analytics for business stakeholders. This role requires extensive experience in data analytics and a strong understanding of Tableau's capabilities, including data blending and complex analytics use cases. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights based on data findings and will be involved in stakeholder management and data security implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Tableau dashboards and data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.
• Manage complex data from multiple sources and understand new datasets.
• Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security model.
• Curate and publish standardized data sources for Tableau Cloud access.
• Partner with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot network/server issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Tableau and data analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 12+ years of experience in data analytics and data foundation for analytics.
• Expertise in Tableau data source and dashboard development.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and database structures.
• Strong understanding of techniques to visualize enterprise data and analytics.
• Proficiency in managing complex data from multiple sources.

Nice-to-haves

• Marketing background with knowledge of marketing and sales analytics metrics/KPIs.
• Advanced analytics experience across multiple functional domains.
• Experience analyzing data in Google Big Query through SQL.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics and statistical techniques using R/Python.
• Certification in Tableau.
