About the position
The Senior Tableau Developer role involves developing and implementing Tableau solutions for data visualization and reporting within the financial services domain. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days a week in Alpharetta, GA, and is expected to last for 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Perform complex data analysis and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Interact with clients to understand business problems and provide solutions.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance data visualization processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Tableau development.
- At least 2 years of experience in a consulting role.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data transformation tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Snowflake experience.
