About the position

The Talent Acquisition Compliance Specialist at Donaldson plays a crucial role in ensuring that all recruitment processes adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This position focuses on creating structure, educating others, and continuously improving processes within the talent acquisition framework. The role is dynamic, requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
  • Regularly audit processes to ensure compliance and alignment with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain, revise, develop, and implement recruitment policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance on compliance-related issues.
  • Proactively identify high-impact areas for improvement and take the initiative to effectuate change.
  • Coordinate and conduct training for internal staff.
  • Drive consistency in job postings and alignment with EVP.
  • Generate reports and work with data to complete analysis that shows trends and challenges.
  • Identify operational opportunities and creative solutions and help implement changes that will enhance effectiveness and mitigate risk.
  • Complete ad hoc projects and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of talent acquisition exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of exposure to affirmative action plans and knowledge of EEOC/OFCCP.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in Talent Acquisition pre-employment processes such as background checks & I-9's.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Proficiency using Workday as an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification: SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar.
  • Experience in employment law.
