We have an opening for an onsite Sr Talent Acquisition Recruiter located at our Columbus OH Plant. As a Sr Recruiter, you will be responsible for the development and the execution of specific Talent Acquisition plans supporting the Columbus OH Plant. You will provide high volume, full-cycle recruiting, from requirement definition through offer negotiation handling complex compensation packages, to hire, using Abbott's ATS and CRM. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies that leverage the use of cost-effective recruiting channels such as the Abbott careers page, job boards, social media posts, CRM and ATS data sources, referral programs, and virtual job fairs. Your role will also involve understanding and applying direct sourcing techniques and methodology to engage and nurture passive candidates, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. You will execute with high quality hiring standards, meet diversity goals, focus on execution and efficiency to manage a large volume of hires, and support local partner relationship manager initiatives as appropriate. Understanding the business needs and developing recruiting tactics that yield strong outcomes will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high volume, full-cycle recruiting, from requirement definition through offer negotiation handling complex compensation packages, to hire, using Abbott's ATS and CRM.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that leverage the use of cost-effective recruiting channels such as the Abbott careers page, job boards, social media posts, CRM and ATS data sources, referral programs, and virtual job fairs.
  • Understand and apply direct sourcing techniques and methodology to engage and nurture passive candidates.
  • Provide high level candidate support to attract, engage, influence, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Use of contingency search partners for difficult to fill roles as required, with leadership approval.
  • Execute with high quality hiring standards, meet diversity goals, focus on execution and efficiency to manage a large volume of hires, and support local partner relationship manager initiatives as appropriate.
  • Focus on delivering diverse slates of qualified candidates.
  • Understand the business needs and develop recruiting tactics that yield strong outcomes.
  • Understand and articulate the hiring managers' needs in a concise manner. Leverage market insights and data to support recommendations.
  • Operate independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • Minimum professional experience: 4+ years agency or in-house Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or in adjacent industry segments, and in at least one of the core functions: commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate function.
  • Experience in supporting business hiring needs up to senior manager level.
