About the position

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at Stifel is responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment for open positions within the firm. This role involves posting job openings, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and processing new hire paperwork. The specialist will also develop a pipeline of top candidates through various recruiting strategies and collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruiting including posting open requisitions in the HRIS system.
  • Communicating with candidates appropriately throughout the hiring process.
  • Conducting phone interviews and scheduling onsite interviews.
  • Creating offer letters and hiring candidates in the HRIS system.
  • Developing initiatives to source passive candidates and create pipelines to fill positions.
  • Attending career fairs and campus events to attract talent.
  • Partnering with community organizations focused on developing talent.
  • Managing agency relationships to augment staffing initiatives.
  • Administering applicable assessments as part of the interview process.
  • Processing background checks as necessary.
  • Making verbal and written job offers to final candidates.
  • Resolving any final details with job offers and hiring candidates in the system.
  • Declining remaining candidates appropriately and scheduling start dates for new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • 5+ years previous full cycle recruiting experience.
