About the position

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team in a hybrid work environment, where you will spend two days working from home and three days in the office. This role is pivotal in providing high-level support to our Talent Acquisition Recruiters, ensuring that our recruitment processes are efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong technical proficiency in HR software and tools. You will be responsible for managing and tracking contractor conversions from start to finish, coordinating new employee start dates, and ensuring adherence to Hanger's onboarding policies. Additionally, you will draft and execute offer letters and employment agreements using document-signing software technology. In this role, you will assist in creating job requisitions, posting open positions to job boards, and managing high-volume job requisitions. You will also be responsible for processing monetary awards for employees participating in Hanger's Refer-A-Friend Program and supporting various recruiting process functions, including document management and candidate travel arrangements. Your ability to create or update PowerPoint presentations for reporting KPIs or training will be essential, as will your collaboration with other business units such as Finance, Operations, Benefits, Human Resources, and Payroll. You will also assist in ad-hoc Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives, demonstrating a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. This position requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. You will need to possess analytical skills with a business results orientation and self-motivation, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all contractor conversions from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and schedule new employee start dates, ensuring adherence to Hanger's onboarding policies.
  • Draft and execute offer letters and employment agreements using document-signing software technology.
  • Assist in the creation of job requisitions and posting open positions to job boards.
  • Send out assessments and source high volume job requisitions.
  • Manage, track, and process monetary awards for employees participating in Hanger's Refer-A-Friend Program.
  • Support various recruiting process functions including document management and candidate dispositions.
  • Collect background check results and coordinate candidate travel arrangements.
  • Create or update PowerPoint presentations primarily used for reporting KPIs or trainings for customers/hiring managers.
  • Escalate or redirect Talent Acquisition related issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with other business units including Finance, Operations, Benefits, Human Resources, and Payroll.
  • Assist in ad-hoc Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires 4 years of related experience and a high school education or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Solid understanding of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably iCIMS or Oracle Recruiting Cloud, HRIS Databases/ADP.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, resume databases, online communities, and social media recruiting strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.
